School Age Program – February Vacation

February 19th thru 23rd at the Southwick Recreation Center

Monday, February 19th

6:30-9 — Kids arrive/Free play upstairs
9-10:30 — Gym Time
10:30-12 — Arts and Crafts
12-12:30 — Lunch
1-3:30 — Tournament Time
3:30-4 — Snack
4-6 — Kids leave/free play

Tournament Time is our special activity for the day. We will have tournaments in the gym such as: Dodge Ball, hoola hoops, basket ball, jump roping and four square. We may also bring down games such as connect four and mancala for tournaments as well.

Tuesday, February 20th

6:30-9 Kids arrive/free play upstairs
9-10:30 Brunch
10:30-12 Gym Time
12-1 Free play upstairs
1-1:30 Lunch
1:30-3 Homework Room Painting
3-3:30 Snack
4-6 Kids Leave/Free Play

Brunch will be the special activity for the day. Kids will help prepare food to be cooked by the adults. We will enjoy pancakes with M+M’s, blueberries, or strawberries. We will also have sausage and milk or OJ.

Wednesday, February 21st

10:30-12 Arts and Crafts
12-12:30 Lunch
1-2 Mad Science
2:30-3 Snack
3-5 Bingo
5-6 Kids leave/free play

Mad science is our special activity for the day. The cost is $170. This will be a great experience for the kids!

Thursday, February 22nd

6:30-9 Kids arrive/free play
9-10:30 Arts and Crafts
10:30-12 Gym Time
12-12:30 Subway for lunch
1-3 Special movie
3-3:30 Snack
3:30-6 Kids leave/free play

Subway for lunch and a special movie will be our special activities for the day. The cost for subway will be between $40-70 Depending on the amount of kids and therefore the size grinder we will need and also drinks (which obviously can be bought separately to save money). This is without a discount. The movie will be about $5 unless one of the kids has a movie they can bring in.

Friday, February 23rd

9-10:30 Gym Time
10:30-12 Arts and Crafts
12-12:30 Lunch
1-4 Bounce House/ Carnivale activities
4-6 Kids leave/free play

The bounce house will be our special activity for the day along with the whole feel of a carnivale. For activities we will have face painting, egg relay, ice melting, balloon between knees relay, soak up water with a sponge relay, and a coin toss. Snack will be served during the carnivale.
